Golf is a game of a lifetime. We welcome beginners and experienced players. Golfers will be taught swing fundamentals (driving, iron play, chipping and putting) as well as history of the game, etiquette, codes of conduct and course play. We have a special focus on youth to make golf inclusive by welcoming and inviting youth from culturally diverse and economically challenged backgrounds. We encourage and look to partner with community youth organizations and schools. We provide additional competitive opportunities to showcase and take golfers to the next level of play. We provide the facility, equipment and instructors to help you learn and have fun with this great game.

Prior to the start of your child’s class we would like to go over safety concerns, restrictions and precautions as it pertains to Covid-19.

  1. We adhere to and are committed to “Safety First”.  Safety is a priority and paramount when it comes to a successful junior golf program. The facility and instruction areas will be prepared in advance to make sure that a safe learning environment exists.  Any junior golfer who intentionally and repeatedly violates Button Hole safety rules could be removed from our junior golf programs.  We strive for an organized and safe golf facility to make learning golf as FUN as possible.
  2. As of March 1 -2022 -The State of Rhode Island is still under a state of emergency regarding the Covid-19 Health Pandemic. As restrictions and guidelines ease, We ask if your child is sick please refrain from attending until they feel better. Here at Button Hole your child’s safety is our foremost concern. Masks are no longer required, however if your child would like to wear a mask that is totally fine and up to you.
  3. Please show respect towards all of the instructors and fellow  junior golfers. On the driving range it is essential that you swing in designated area.
  4. Potentially a class could be cancelled due to inclement weather, and we will communicate with you concerning a rain make up class. However, if your junior golfer misses a class on your own accord-  because we will be experiencing a vibrant youth 2022 calendar year- potential make up class will be at the discretion of the Instructional staff and we will communicate the potential date and time.
  5. We are looking forward to a great 2022 Instructional and golf season at Button Hole Golf Course and Teaching Center.  We are busier then ever and the facility will be filled to capacity with our youth programs on most days…Parents and chaperones are certainly allowed to spectate from a moderate distance(approx. 25 feet), but going forward Parents and chaperone participation(with the exception of the Wee Putters) in any way during our class sessions is not allowed – Especially when our instructors take the juniors on the golf course- Also, extensive video recording of classes is not permitted- if you would like to video record your child before or after class that would be great…Thank You for your Cooperation!

Thank you for your understanding in this unprecedented time.
