In-School Program Gets High Marks!

» In-School Program Gets High Marks!

The In-School Program has reached nearly 2000 students by integrating the game of golf into the physical education curriculum in Providence elementary and middle schools. This initiative exposes children not only to the game of golf but more importantly it teaches life lessons. Jose Valero, Principal Lilian Feinstein Sacket Street School and supporter of the program said, “Button Hole’s In-School golf program gives our students the opportunity to acquire basic golf skills while also developing good sportsmanship, respect, and determination.” The value of this program can be measured by the success of its students, including Kevin Valentin, a fourth grade student at Alfred Lima Elementary school. He has taken a great interest and done so well in the In-School program, and will continue in the spring with a scholarship for our Beginner program!
